Officials Needed:
The San Diego Track and Field Officials Association is currently recruiting new members.
Officials work on a volunteer basis at Youth, High School, College, and USATF Open track
and field meets in the San Diego area. No previous experience is necessary.
Training is provided in classrooms and on the job.

2012 Rules: Go to USATF Officials Rules Center for important 2012 rules changes and links to the latest on-line Rules Books for IAAF, USATF, NCAA, and High School. For a comparison of rules for the different governing bodies, purchase Jim Hanley's 2012 Track & Field Rule Book Differences at jim.hanley.cc.
Uniforms: The local uniform consists of white shirt and khaki slacks, shorts or skirts. Morgan's Monograms is the local source for officials' shirts. Take your own white shirt (or purchase at Morgan's) for the embroidered USATF Certified Officials logo and your name (optional).
On-Line Training: The National USATF Officials Training Center contains useful training tutorials, manuals, forms, and resources for track and field officials.
